The Kamikaze Geisha has returned;
just slit your wrist and learn,
the way in which I write—
expressing myself with all my might.
I'll type out letters,
to let you see;
I'll paint pictures,
to bring understanding;
and most of all, I'm willing
to BLEED,
if that's what it takes to get
my point across.
Yes, I'm the Kamikaze:
listening to the divine wind for
inspiration;
ready to DIE at a moment's notice.
If you understand,
then my life's been worth it.
Hai! Tak! Ja!
The Geisha is who I am—
"Artist": that's what it means,
paint, pencil, ink—
curves, lines, and A,B,C's—
Just trying to express my heart
in every medium, known to
woman.
God gave me a little gift,
now I'll waste my life trying to use it.
Got it clear?
What my name means?
Just who I am.
An Artist— with words in her palette.
A suicidal— dying a little everyday for what's right.
God speaks,
I write;
God's pleased,
I die.

Written, 1st edit: 6/29/08 @ 3PM Second Edit: 7/7/08 Well... I was thinking of a way to try to get across why I chose "KamikazeGeisha" as my DA name. And then it hit me: a poem! So yes, this is what I thought when thinking of my name. If you don't get it, just leave a comment and I'll explain in non-poetic terms  For those who don't know foriegn languages: kamikaze= (Jap.) divine wind spirit geisha= (Jap.) artist Hai= (Jap.) Affirmative! Ja= (Ger.) Yes Tak= (Pol.) Yes. I'm still not sure about the category... its probably incorrect. I don't know... I'm definitely thinking of using this for the next poetry slam... I wonder what Mrs. B.'ll do to me.... EDIT: 10/19/08 It seems my mom looked at this poem. I think all the death words scared her. So I thought I might want to mention(and I think most people understood this) that the focus isn't supposed to be on death... More like art, zeal, and divine will. I guess its really hidden?
